As Omada expanded into GLP-1 weight loss programs, the challenge was to design a digital experience that balanced clinical safety with emotional trust. Members were navigating complex feelings around body image, long-term medication use, and conflicting weight loss advice. The platform needed to clearly communicate care plans, reduce anxiety, and build confidence—all while aligning with evolving medical guidelines and supporting sustainable behavior change.
I led the design of a member experience that blended empathetic visual language with evidence-based care workflows. We created a warm, judgment-free interface that guided users through personalized medication plans, regular health check-ins, and coaching support. The design emphasized clarity and reassurance—simplifying medical information, reinforcing trust through consistent messaging, and using inclusive imagery. We also embedded nudges to encourage sustainable behavior change beyond medication, integrating GLP-1 into Omada’s broader metabolic care journey.
The redesigned experience helped more eligible members understand and access GLP-1 treatment, making the journey clearer and more supportive. It aligned clinical, product, and design teams around a shared, patient-first model—laying the foundation for long-term engagement and care continuity.
